Their number is still calculated in units; most are limited to consultations.The new law on mortgage vacations allows borrowers who find themselves in a difficult position to go to the bank and take a break in servicing a loan for six months without charging fines. Information about the absence of payments for this period will not be taken into account in the credit history, and they will not be able to withdraw collateral from the borrower.As News.ru previously wrote, the mortgage market is still shrinking. In January – June 2019, the Russians took 576 thousand new loans for the purchase of housing, which is 13.2% less than in the same period last year.
